These bare-bones guides, written by Fuu, provide basic recommendations on optimal talents and DPS rotations to use in end-game raiding during the Battle for Azeroth. We’ll post more comprehensive spec guides for Level 120 end-game as we get closer to the official BfA launch on Aug. 14.
Also take a look at our BfA/8.0.1 “What’s Changing” post, which includes a bunch of links to additional guides and other resources.

Disclaimer:
Rotation and Talent choice can be slightly different in the pre-patch.
Talent Notation:
Talents are distinguished by talent number in row order. 0 signifies free choice.
NOTE: The shown talent is an Example, the talent for your specification can be found in the Talent section of each spec.
Therefore if the talents are listed as:
- 2010032
that means that you need to pick:
- In row 1, take talent number 2
- In row 2, take any talent
- In row 3, take talent number 1
- In row 4, take any talent
- In row 5, take any talent
- In row 6, take talent number 3
- In row 7, take talent number 2
What’s a multi target opener look like with the SS trait taken? Confused on how you deal with all of the extra CP’s. Waste them or…?
Number of seconds to refresh Nightblade seem to be wrong. They are given for 4- and 5-CP Nightblades instead of 5- and 6-CP ones. Should be: 4.8 sec and 5.4 sec.
I choose that duration on purpose. The finishing pre condition is 4+ or 5+ cp for nightblade. If you choose the duration for max cp you can run into situations where you would waste up time playing around those while those conditions avoid that.
You might want to modify the between the eyes section. At about 23% crit (don’t know the exact figure off the top of my head, but it’s about there) BtE does the same damage-per-energy as Dispatch. Above that you use BtE on CD always, even with a SnD build. BtE is used during ruthless precision at all gear points since you’d need negative crit for Dispatch to come ahead then.
Bte only does more damage than dispatch if it crits
Roll the Bones vs SnD ? Whats best
Roll the bones definately, the rework they did is amazing! also a more fun way to play the build instead of being a tunnel machine.
I believe the last sims i saw where roll the bones was a bit hight than SnD but not too far ahead, but i could be wrong, google bfa sims for outlaw 🙂
what do the numbers for the builds mean?
check the more info tab
the talent you are getting in each row, for example on the first row you are getting the number 2 out of 3 in that row.
